Who am I?

I'm a data-driven Lead Content Designer with a background in linguistics.

I’m an organised self-starter with a passion for helping people.

I’m a language nerd who loves puzzles and puns.

How do I work?

I use data to drive my decisions:

  • User interviews, research insights, support tickets.

  • Metric tracking tools - e.g. HotJar, Google Analytics

  • Google trends, reading patterns, best practices.

  • Whatever else I can get my hands on.

I break down silos and seek input from:

  • Senior stakeholders, SMEs, support staff, PMs, etc.

  • Product managers, product owners, and developers

  • Designers and other content designers.

  • Research team

I support people and build teams up:

  • Organising crits and retros get regular feedback

  • Running workshops to share knowledge

  • Celebrating people’s wins and encouraging great work

  • Creating progression frameworks, style guides, team goals, and roadmaps.

What have I done in the past?

I started my career of language-adjacent roles in SAAS platforms after studying linguistics at university and teaching English for a bit.

I’ve lead initiatives and driven impact at global companies across a few different industries:

  • Built and managed teams in content design and localisation.

  • Influenced heads of departments, directors, and CEOs.

  • Enhanced multiple onboarding flows, crafted new homepages and navigations, and even shaped a mental health app.

What do I do for fun?

I like to hike in the peak district and I play ultimate frisbee.

My wife and I recently got married. We love going to shows and doing cryptic crosswords together.

If you’re lucky, you might even get to meet our 3-legged cat (Ernie) during a work call.
